Depending on the product and the design element, different kinds of wood are used . The spectrum extends from the hard and sturdy rosewood for making handles of tea sets to a light wood like white cedar for the signature Frazer and Haws walking sticks and shoe horns. In between these extremes is the Burma teak for our wide range of photo frames. A wide range of polishes are used from a clear wax to a highly polished and colour stained spirit finish which has to be applied by hand and then rubbed vigorously. At the other end of the spectrum is the spray painted duco finish.
